Incident Summary – Assault / Possession of a Bladed Article

At approximately 1630 hours on Thursday 14th May 2026, Ashford Police received a report of an assault involving a knife, concerning two youths believed to be from the Tenterden area.

Upon police arrival, officers located the victim with a minor cut to his hand, which was reported to have been sustained during the incident. The presence of a knife was confirmed by the victim and supported by accounts from members of the public at the scene.

The victim was assessed by a local ambulance crew, who deemed the injury to be minor.
